On the evening of 2026 year, 7 month, 16, at 19 local time, jointly organized by TEIDE Education Group and Spain's renowned Sant Lluc Art Center"Maritime Silk Road: 2026 Sino-Western Art Exhibition" officially opens at Sant Lluc in Barcelona.

Mr. Hu Aimin, Vice Consul of the Chinese Consulate General in Barcelona; Mr. Wang Jinwei, Chinese Dean of the Barcelona Confucius Institute Foundation; Mr. Jin Hao, President of the Spanish Federation of Overseas Chinese Chambers of Commerce; Mr. Guillem, Secretary-General of the Board of Directors of the St. Luke Art Center; and Mr. Liang Ran, Chairman of the Ted Education Group.The launch ceremony was also attended by numerous guests from the art, education, and business sectors in both China and the United States.
Twin cities collaborate to compose a new chapter of art along the "Maritime Silk Road"
This joint exhibition aims to build bridges across geopolitical divides through art.
Ted Education Group Chairman Mr. Liang Ran introduced in his opening remarks that the exhibition launched its call for entries at the beginning of this year and held a grand kickoff ceremony at Beijing Jintai Art Museum.The event specially invited renowned artist and Director of the Jintai Art Museum, Mr. Yuan Xikun, as Chief Advisor. A team of experts from the Central Academy of Fine Arts collaborated with the St. Luke's Art Center jury to select the exhibiting works over several months.

At the opening ceremony, a video titled "Maritime Silk Road," produced by the Embassy of Spain in China, was shown, along with highlights from the Sino-Spanish Art Exhibition.Vividly brought to life the deep history of cultural and trade exchange between China and Western nations, while outlining the extraordinary journey of this "Maritime Silk Road" art selection for our guests.

Partnership Strengthened: Ted International High School's "St. Luke Campus" Officially Opens
In his address, Mr. Liang Ran highlighted Ted Education's rapid growth over the past two years. Since acquiring Ted School two years ago, the group has introduced the IB curriculum and Chinese language instruction, launched the Liceu music program, and completely renovated campus facilities, officially rebranding it as Ted International School. Over the past two years, student enrollment has grown by 50%, with the Lower Primary and Middle School divisions now operating at full capacity.The local government has officially approved and supported the construction of the new high school building, and the translator on-site that day was the architect of the new building.

The "Tate International Arts High School Program," a deep collaboration between Tate and the Saint Luke Art Center, has officially launched.
The St. Luke campus will officially open on 9/10 this year. Housed in a historic medieval palace that once nurtured art giants like Gaudí, Miró, and Picasso, it offers A-Level courses taught in Chinese, English, and Spanish, allowing students to thrive in a rich artistic and historical environment.

Guillem, Secretary of the Board of Directors at St. Luke's Arts Center, delivered remarks on behalf of the host.Mr. Gillem stated that the Saint Luke Art Center, with over 130 years of history, has always been dedicated to connecting diverse cultures and eras through art.He is extremely satisfied with the results of his collaboration with Ted and extends his sincere congratulations to all the award-winning young artists.

Fulfilling Social Responsibility: Art Sale by Deaf Children in Tibet
While advancing its international education initiatives, Ted Group is also actively fulfilling its corporate social responsibilities. According to reports, the group has established a holding company in Hong Kong and launched collaborative education programs in Beijing, Shanghai, and Kunshan, Jiangsu.

This exhibition features a special public welfare art zone showcasing children's artwork from hearing-impaired students in Lhasa, Tibet, created through the "Art Lights Up Dreams" initiative by Beijing Huguang Public Welfare Foundation.These works will be auctioned after their exhibition at the St. Luke's Gallery in Barcelona, with all proceeds donated to charitable projects supporting more children with hearing impairments.

Mr. Xu Hang of Beijing Huguang Public Welfare Foundation delivered a keynote speech on how artistic creation can empower children with hearing impairments.Mr. Liang Ran announced that Mr. Xu Hang has officially joined Tade Education Group and will assume full responsibility for the group's philanthropic initiatives and the management of Tade International Art Institution.

Mr. Jin Hao, President of the Federation of Chinese Chambers of Commerce in Spain, spoke from the perspective of people-to-people exchanges and the social responsibilities of chambers of commerce.Highly praised the exhibition's role as a bridge fostering friendship between China and the West, and called on more business leaders to join future cultural philanthropy efforts.
Art salons shine in harmony with official aspirations
During the salon sharing session, renowned artists Shun Yang, Rosa Solano, and Núria Rossell took the stage.Share insights from three artists on cultural exchange between China and Spain. Artists such as Yang Shun will also serve as art mentors at the Ted International Art High School alongside artists from the San Luke Art Center in the future.

In her remarks, Ms. Wang Jinwei, Chinese Dean of the Barcelona Confucius Institute Foundation, expressed high hopes for language teaching and cross-cultural exchange between China and Spain.Mr. Liang Ran revealed that the TED Chongqing office is currently developing a Chinese language textbook for Spanish speakers, featuring comics and animation. Once published, it will be shared with the public.

In the subsequent exhibition tour, Mr. Liang Ran guided guests through the campus and exhibition halls.Guests not only enjoyed the outstanding works in this joint exhibition but also had the rare opportunity to view Joan Miró's original masterpieces, Antoni Gaudí's authentic models for the Sagrada Família, and original manuscripts from Casa Batlló within the Saint Luke Gallery, deeply experiencing Barcelona's rich artistic heritage.
